What's included in the Free plan?
Free lets you try Fynmerge with your own numbers: up to 3 invoices a month, a 30-day cash forecast from figures you enter, the tax pot calculator and tax deadline tracking, for 1 business and 1 user. Bank and accounting connections, automated payment chasing and the 90-day forecast are on paid plans. Invoices sent on Free carry a small 'Sent with Fynmerge' footer.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is completely free forever. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial — no card needed until you decide to continue.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can ask us to export your invoices and contacts at any time. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation so you can re-subscribe without losing anything.
Is my banking data secure?
Yes. Fynmerge uses Open Banking (regulated in the UK under the Payment Services Regulations 2017) — we never see your bank credentials. Read-only bank access is granted via your bank's own consent flow and can be revoked at any time.
How does Fynmerge help with Making Tax Digital?
Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax applies from April 2026 to sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000. Fynmerge tracks your quarterly MTD deadlines alongside VAT and Self Assessment.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Switch to annual billing on the pricing page: Sole Trader drops from £15 to £12 a month (£144 a year) and SMB from £39 to £29 a month (£348 a year). You can switch back to monthly at your next renewal.
